Programme Overview
About This Programme
PSEF's Mahila Sashaktikaran programme is built on the belief that women's empowerment is the foundation of community transformation.
We work with women across rural MP — forming Self Help Groups (SHGs), providing vocational skills training, enabling access to government schemes like Ladli Behna Yojana, and building legal awareness.
Our approach is three-pronged: economic independence through micro-enterprise, social empowerment through rights education, and political participation through leadership training.
The programme has been particularly impactful in tribal districts where women face multiple layers of marginalisation — including Shahdol, Umaria, and Balaghat.

Legal Rights Awareness

Camps on POCSO, domestic violence law, property rights, and legal aid — in collaboration with district legal services authorities.
Govt Scheme Facilitation
सरकारी योजना सहायता
Helping women access Ladli Behna Yojana, PM Ujjwala, PM Awas, Sukanya Samriddhi, and other schemes through documentation support.
Bal Vivah Mukti Abhiyan
बाल विवाह मुक्ति अभियान
Community awareness campaigns against child marriage, in partnership with Women & Child Development department, MP.
Women Leadership Training
महिला नेतृत्व प्रशिक्षण
Capacity building for panchayat-level women leaders and SHG heads to participate effectively in local governance.
