Programme Overview
About This Programme
Madhya Pradesh is home to rich biodiversity — from the Vindhya ranges to the Satpura Tiger Reserve. But rapid deforestation, illegal mining, and climate change threaten this natural wealth.
PSEF's Paryavaran programme combines tree plantation drives, river bank restoration, and climate change awareness to protect MP's ecological balance.
We work closely with tribal communities who are forest-dependent — supporting their Forest Rights Act (FRA) claims, promoting non-timber forest produce (NTFP) enterprises, and reducing wood fuel dependence.
Our annual Van Mahotsav drives have planted over 50,000 trees across MP, with school and community participation building a new generation of environment champions.

Van Mahotsav Tree Plantation

Annual tree plantation drives during monsoon — targeting 10,000 trees per year in degraded lands, school campuses, and village commons.
River Conservation

Son, Johilla, and Banas river bank cleaning, watershed management campaigns, and awareness against plastic/industrial pollution.
Solar & Clean Energy

Solar lantern distribution in off-grid villages, smokeless chulha promotion, and LPG access support under PM Ujjwala Yojana.
Forest Rights Support

Helping tribal families file and follow up on Forest Rights Act (FRA) land claims — ensuring legal tenure and livelihood security.
Climate Awareness in Schools

Eco-club formation, climate change workshops, and Green School initiatives in 50+ schools across Shahdol division.
NTFP Enterprise Promotion
