What is Ladli Behna Yojana?

Ladli Behna Yojana is a flagship scheme by the Madhya Pradesh government providing ₹1,250 per month (₹15,000 per year) directly to the bank accounts of eligible women in MP. Launched in 2023, the scheme has been one of the most impactful welfare programmes for women in the state.

Who Is Eligible?

You ARE eligible if:

  • You are a married woman aged 21 to 60 years (as on January 1 of the application year)
  • Your family's annual income is below ₹2.5 lakh
  • Your family does not own more than 5 acres of agricultural land
  • You are a resident of Madhya Pradesh
  • You have a valid Samagra ID

You are NOT eligible if:

  • You or your family member holds a government job
  • Your family pays income tax
  • You are a government pension holder
  • You or a family member holds an elected office (MP, MLA, Mayor etc.)

Step-by-Step Registration Process

Step 1: Visit PSEF Camp or Government Camp

PSEF conducts free registration camps at:

  • Gram Panchayat offices in rural Shahdol
  • Block offices (Beohari, Jaisinghnagar, Sohagpur, etc.)
  • PSEF office: Behind Nalanda Hotel, Near New Bus Stand, Shahdol

Step 2: Aadhaar eKYC

Your Aadhaar must be verified through OTP or biometric. PSEF volunteers carry biometric machines to rural camps.

Step 3: Application Form Submission

After submission, the form is verified by local authorities. You receive an SMS confirmation on your registered mobile.

Step 5: Receive Monthly Payment

Approved applicants receive ₹1,250 directly to their bank account on the 10th of every month.
